Multi-Factor Authentication

You can add multi-factor authentication to your BackupSheep account. Few important things.

• You can add multiple phone numbers for SMS-based authentication
• A country code is required.
• If you use Google/Microsoft Sign-in then multi-factor authentication is not available. You can add it to your Google/Microsoft account itself.
• We are working on adding other forms of multi-factor authentication as well.

Steps to add multi-factor authentication to your account.

Click on your name in the top-right menu and then click on Settings

Then click on Multi-Factor Auth

Add your Display Name and your phone number with your country code and then click on Link Phone Number

Now check your phone for the verification code.

Your number is successfully linked.
